One town’s 2021 records, tested against the demolitions of 2022 to 2024

The study scored a ranking, built from one coastal Massachusetts town’s records as they stood at the end of 2021, against the three years after, which the ranking could not have seen; it put 31 of the 72 homes demolished in its top tenth. On home sales the same test did no better than a rule of thumb, and the study says so.

Homes demolished from 2022 to 2024, by their place in the 2021 ranking; the tallest bar is the top tenth.

How far the study’s claim reaches

The test covers one town, one date and 72 demolitions, and the claim reaches no further; any town may ask for the list of the 72 homes and check the run itself.

Ask for this test on your town’s records.

A founder reads it and replies; the first run comes from your town’s own records, before any contract.
